Happy Happy Happy Birthday!!!

Today would have been my Mom's 53rd birthday. I can't even believe that!
I needed a good pic of her for the blog and BOY did my cousin

ever come through!!! Here are some pics of my Aunt De's wedding. They sewed all of the dresses themselves. I'm assuming they picked the flowers as well. But arent' they BEAUTIFUL?! Absolutley glowing. I've always thought expensive weddings were totally overrated. I'm without a doubt eloping. I'm pretty sure this wasn't an extravagant throw-down, but they got it right. I think they are the prettiest ladies I've ever seen. I don't know who the other bridesmaids are, but the one in blue is my mom. And today is her birthday.

It is also the birthday of Mrs. Tidwell, my third grade teacher. She is the one who taught me to write in cursive and be very patriotic. I think the patriotism stuck more than the cursive writing. She also nearly killed me with those times tables. I didn't think I was going to make it out of the third grade. I'm not truly convinced she thought I would either.

The fun doesn't stop there. It is also the birthday of the very first love of my life, Coach Finley. He was the cutest guy I'd ever seen when I was 5. He was my P.E. coach. We were buds all the way through school and he also ended up being my basketball coach and of course, history teacher. Great guy. We bake him a cake ever year.
Except for the sad part, October 27th is a pretty good day. :0)
