Here's to hoping you have someone to kiss when the clock strikes midnight! There are 2000 plus people at the Conference Center.. it's been a crazy night! I'm certain while I ring in the new year up here.. all the family back home is fast asleep. Hope that 2010 is a good year for all of you!

Rain Rain GO AWAY!

Well, it's raining and I'm entirely too cold to go outside to get my camera to upload a pic, so I've decided to pull one out of the vault. It's recent though.. this is from our Associate Christmas Party.. and this is Lover (or Corey as he's known to everybody else). This is my dear friend that talked me into actually running in the 10K with him and no the coordinating Christmas sweaters were not planned.

Say CHEESE Grandma!

Yes, my Grandma is the coolest thing since sliced bread! This is her, striking a pose for the camera in my Kermit the Frog 'Boggin that I won playing Dirty Santa! I wish I could go back and live with her! She's the BEST!!!

Dr. Wesley

So today was yet another fabulous end to the holidays. I'm officially 5 days removed from Marriott world and on my final day of vaca, I visited my FAVORITE Eye Doctor, Dr. Wesley and convinced him to be my pic of the day. He's the best and I'm not just saying that because once again I convinced him to dialate Sister's eyes instead of mine. That's four years in a row that she's gotten stuck with it and I have opted out. How great is that?! Poor sister. However, as I sat in the waiting room I started thinking I have been going to him for over half my life. 14 years now. I AM GETTING OLD!
Also started off the morning with b'fast with my favorite clan from high school. Buddy, Jacob, Al, Whitney, Jenn and Jared all joined me at the Bridge for some last minute holiday bonding. It was lots of fun and we found out Al and Whitney are having a baby in June! Jenn's having a little girl on May 3rd and Al and Whitney will have (I think a girl) June 21st! Congrats to all my pregger friends!!!

The Cousins from the other side of the family

And here we are.. the day after Christmas at Uncle Chuckie's house. I racked up with a Wii, a cute little carrying case that I can take to Hawaii, a cream colored cardigan that I was in desperate need of, the coolest water bottle and 6lbs of GUMMY BEARS! Now I am set!

The Cousins

OK so not even 1 week in and I've already missed 3 consecutive days... I told you this wouldn't be very promising. However, in my defense, it has been a busy 3 days and I am stuck in Nauvoo with limited computer access. Nevertheless, here is a pic from Christmas Eve at my Grandma's house. Every year we have pics made with Grandma. These are grandkids and great grandkids. A lot of them are missing.. but these are the cool ones that stuck around for a photo op.

Wrapping Paper

Every crazy in the greater Shoals area is out tonight. If I'd had my camera, I would've taken a picture of the 10000000 cars that were packed into every parking lot I went into tonight. Apparently EVERYONE waits until the last minute. What happened to all you early birds?! Are we procrastinators taking over the universe? Nevertheless, my pic of the day is the wrapping paper I selected for my gifts this year. Sister goes into Hobby Lobby looking for the most beautiful paper with matching ribbons and nonsense like that. I go for the paper that makes me laugh the hardest. This year, the moose won. Or deer or reindeer... whatever it is. Still funny.

The Tittle's

So it's almost time for the greatest most wonderful time of the year. Christmas Eve is THE holiday in the Tittle Family. Today, I got a preview of events to come. I drove down to Grandma's after church for lunch and a little family time. I have now decided that babies have some super power to make adults look like complete idiots. Case in point, my cousin Chris brought down his 18 month old daughter Kensley. For around half an hour, we all sat, mesmorized by the fact that she carried around 2 apples and counted them. It was really a celebration when she was able to say TIDE after her mother said ROLL. Wow.
Didn't get a pic of Kensley, but I did snap a pic of Moe (or Larry, I still can't tell those cats apart). These are Grandmas bob cats. The picture just doesn't do him justice. These are for real the BIGGEST cats I've ever seen in my life. Huge. They must be over 10 lbs. Grandma just throws out a chicken bone like to a dog and these cats will gobble it up. It's the strangest thing...

My Birthday Part III

Yep. Still celebrating. Mal came up today. We had so much fun! Apparently everyone came to Florence to shop today because the stores were packed. We bought ourselves air mattresses only because they were on sale for $15. Not because we needed them. It was just a good deal and sounded like a good idea at the time. No neither one of us have a clue what to do with them. :)Then we went to Crocodile Ed's to eat. Both my boys were there and they brought out a cheesecake with Happy Birthday written on the plate and a trick candle. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me, so I didn't get thier pic. Instead, I took a pic ofthe crocodile Lucas gave me when I got home. It has magnetic feet. TOO COOL! Now it's off to a "Birthday Party for Jesus". I think I need a new outfit for that...

My Birthday Part II

I have decided that from now on, I'll just celebrate birthweek, because today was better than yesterday and I'm confident tomorrow will be even better. We begin with a card from my sweet Grandma as shown. She hardly ever writes anymore, but she took time to draw me a picture of herself. I LOVE MY GRANDMA! She is the coolest person I have ever met.
I also knew better than to even eat breakfast this morning because I was sure that my dear friend Miranda would be bringing cake to work - And boy was I right! She brought in the most delicious homemade cheescake with chocoate crust. It was delightful. She also gave me the most high def picture frame I've ever seen. This sucker comes with a remote, back lighting and music. Seriously, this thing is cooler than my tv. And my buddy Jason gave me a brand new makeup bag from the Spa. I definitely needed that considering mine looks AWFUL!
The other greatest thing about birthdays in the Tittle family is that EVERYBODY will call and sing to you, whether or not they can carry a tune in a bucket. It is wonderful. My phone is now full of my family members singing off key. It's great.
So, when your next birthday rolls around, I would suggest celebrating the week or just join our family. We know how to party.

Happy Birthday to ME!

So today begins the Blog-a-day..
I spent my birthday in training all day, which wasn't quite as bad as it sounds. I was with good friends, so at least there was plenty of entertainment. Jacque brought in a bag of chocolate which always makes everything better...
Luckily, we finished early and I went back to our office and found a fabulous gift that Chef had left me. Lindt Lindor Truffles and Skittles. He knows me so well. I also had the funniest card from him... thus, this is the pic of the day.
Dad also came up and he, Sister and I went to Waffle House.
So I'm officially 24 years into my life and I'm still not quite sure I've accomplished anything or changed this world for the better, but that will be what my 24th year is for. I can't complain though, I have lots of friends and the greatest family (even though they are completely crazy) and days like this remind me of just how blessed I am. In fact, I just got a call from my insurance man wishing me a happy birthday. It's a good life and I am convinced it's going to get better.
