So today begins the Blog-a-day..I spent my birthday in training all day, which wasn't quite as bad as it sounds. I was with good friends, so at least there was plenty of entertainment. Jacque brought in a bag of chocolate which always makes everything better...
Luckily, we finished early and I went back to our office and found a fabulous gift that Chef had left me. Lindt Lindor Truffles and Skittles. He knows me so well. I also had the funniest card from him... thus, this is the pic of the day.
Dad also came up and he, Sister and I went to Waffle House.
So I'm officially 24 years into my life and I'm still not quite sure I've accomplished anything or changed this world for the better, but that will be what my 24th year is for. I can't complain though, I have lots of friends and the greatest family (even though they are completely crazy) and days like this remind me of just how blessed I am. In fact, I just got a call from my insurance man wishing me a happy birthday. It's a good life and I am convinced it's going to get better.
